Help Bitcoin Friesland grow independently

The community and our Telegram group remain free for everyone. We are working on a supporter programme and a small shop, but payments and organisation are not ready yet. Join the waitlist or share your ideas.

Free for everyone

The community and Telegram group remain open to all.

Plan: pay in sats

The idea: the current value of €21 a year, paid in sats.

Open about the funds

Once contributions come in, we keep a simple record of income and spending.

For individuals who want to help Bitcoin Friesland in a practical way. This is what we are planning:

  • A supporter tag in Telegram and Signal.
  • 21 Bitcoin Friesland stickers.
  • Discount codes for events.
  • After consultation, share something Bitcoin-related in the group.

Contribution by agreement

For companies and entrepreneurs. A contribution can be money, food, drinks, a venue, printing or equipment for a meetup.

  • Name or logo mention on the website.
  • Bitcoin Friesland stickers.
  • After consultation, share a Bitcoin-related product, service or event.
  • Possibly host a meetup at the provided venue.
Share your ideas as a business

We are still working out the arrangements and would like to hear what you could contribute. There will be no main or exclusive sponsors.

Once or regularly

Donate sats without anything in return

A regular donation does not automatically include promotion or a mention. You can already send sats: zap us on Nostr or send them to our Lightning address. Every sat goes into the shared pot.

Coming soon

A small shop for the community fund

We are preparing a small shop with stickers and possibly other Bitcoin Friesland items. The margin goes into the shared community fund.

Shop in preparation

There is no online checkout yet. Until then, you can request stickers through the form.

Our boundary

Our independence is not for sale

Financial or other support does not influence our content, opinions, advice, speakers or activities. We remain free to be critical of every party, including business supporters. A mention is not an endorsement.

Where does the contribution go?

To community costs such as the website, stickers, materials and activities. We keep a simple record so it remains clear that contributions benefit Bitcoin Friesland.
